Second Episode

Finally the second episode. I've ended up doing a lot of other things, such as putting proper Lighting and electricity in my workshop. and starting making the fibreglass doors (the next episode) as the work is moving faster than the filming.

I apologise that this episode is a bit boring, but there wasn't really a whole lot interesting to film. it does include some essential tools and books though.

The First Episode

Right, I have finished compiling the first episode so here it is. In this episode I prepare the panels for taking fiberglass molds off, unfortunately the making of those molds will have to wait for a couple of weeks.

enjoy

In the next episode I will be removing all the body panels and prepare the engine for removal

Introductions

Hello My name is Jeremy and I am just starting the restoration and modification of my Morris Minor. I am filming all of my progress on the car for the benefit of any one else who may be considering a similar project. I have little experience working on cars as I have trained as a marine engineer, but I am praying that the skills are transferable.

a list of things i will be doing are:
  • Making lightweight fiberglass panels from scratch.
  • Repairing and strengthening the chassis.
  • Modifying the 998cc engine to hopefully double the horsepower.
  • Putting Gas telescopic shocks and disc brakes.
  • Making my own radius arms and panhard rod for the rear axle
  • re-upholstering the interior.
  • Re-spray (in a cheap homemade poly-tunnel)
  • and more...

Anyway here is the first piece of test footage, I will be interested to see what people think.
